Podcast: Voermol Procon 33, the No 1 for health and wellness

Voermol's acting national technical manager Dr Josef van Wyngaard explains why Procon 33 is one of the company's flagship products. Photo: Food For Mzansi

For the home-mixing of premium animal meals, Voermol Procon 33 is a flexible, urea-free, high-protein concentrate. It has a minimum of three different protein sources that are particularly suited to dairy cows with high production, high-quality milk, and animals with rapid growth.

In this Farmer’s Inside Track episode, Dr Josef van Wyngaard, acting national technical manager of Voermol, shares why Procon 33 is one of Voermol’s flagship products designed to unlock the full genetic potential of small and large stock.

“The whole focus of this product is bypass protein… This product will focus on high-performing animals in a production stage” he explains.

Voermol Procon 33 takes livestock to the next level and beyond

Van Wyngaard also shares how Procon 33 can be used throughout the year as an add-on product to existing supplements that farmers are using.

“We’re really digging deep into the performance of the animals. From upping milk production to increasing wool quality, all the animal products are linked to Procon 33.”

There’s little convincing needed when it comes to this product due to its versatility and many different uses. Van Wyngaard also explains why Procon 33 is the No 1 product to use with the game.

In this episode, Van Wyngaard also discusses:

  • How the product is used;
  • Health benefits of using Procon 33; and
  • The type of animals that can use the supplement.

THE NEW FACE OF SOUTH AFRICAN AGRICULTURE

With 15 global awards in the first four years of its existence, Food For Mzansi is much more than an agriculture publication. It is a movement, unashamedly saluting the unsung heroes of South African agriculture. We believe in the power of agriculture to promote nation building and social cohesion by telling stories that are often overlooked by broader society.
