Let’s kick the mid-January blues to the curb and start the week off with a Bonsmara breeding auction in the Free State on Monday. This is followed by a livestock sale in the Eastern Cape on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, we have our usual date on Instagram Live for the Food For Mzansi Gather To Grow session. On the same day, we also have the AgriSESA accredited piggery short course in Pretoria, Gauteng.
Thursday is your chance to save the date for the Easy Buzzing Bee Course in Midrand, Gauteng, happening on Saturday.
We finish things off with the SA Olive Field Day on Friday.

AgriSETA Accredited Piggery Short Course
This course is presented year-round and is designed to empower you to be able to leave with the required knowledge to succeed in your new business venture. This course will help you to apply basic pig production skills to your farm to ensure that your venture is as profitable as possible. It will help the new and existing farmers to attain a high level of success in production.

Save the date for the Easy Buzzing Bee Course – Beginner
Learners that do not have bee suits or jackets of their own MUST hire one of ours for the day and this is not included in the course fee.
The Course price is R995 and it includes theory on beekeeping equipment, planning apiaries, harvesting honey, keeping bees, and much more!

Friday, 26 January
SA Olive Field Day
If you are a producer, SA Olive member, student, or just keen to find out more about olive farming and pick up some tips and tricks, then do join us for the interactive SA Olive Field Day.
This field day will focus on sustainable olive farming and cover topics such as enterprise development, soil nutrition, soil health, and pruning. There will also be a series of live and engaging demonstrations from our sponsors on the day.
Attendees will also be given general information about the olive farming industry and given a unique opportunity to chat with some amazing experts in the industry.
