Food security roundtable virtual summit
The hosting of Cop27 in the green city of Sharm El-Sheikh in Egypt this year marks the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
This year’s gathering will centre on climate change with a focus on taking ambitious mitigative action, implementing transformative adaptation agendas that respond to the current and future impacts of climate change, and much more.
Actions to support small-scale food producers, technology to enable higher productivity, and many other fascinating topics will also be discussed.

Water security roundtable virtual summit
Day two of the Cop27 summit will feature a multi-stakeholder roundtable discussion that aims to promote communication between parties and various actors operating in the water sector.
The purpose of this session is to facilitate in-depth discussion on a wide variety of water-related topics. A huge emphasis has been placed on integrating water security action into the international climate agenda.

On every second Thursday of each month, BKB hosts the Outeniqua Livestock Auction at the Outeniqua auction premises in Humansdorp, Eastern Cape.
