We finish the week with BKB conducting an N. Van Rensburg dispersion sale in Virginia, Free State.

Webinar promoting smallholders access to markets
The Agricultural Research Council (ARC), in collaboration with the National Agricultural Marketing Council (NAMC) and the department of agriculture, land reform and rural development (DALRRD), will be hosting a webinar to accelerate the adoption of the Smallholder Empowerment Promotion Programme (SHEP) concept as one of the pillars to strengthen smallholder market access.
The webinar’s goal is to provide a neutral platform for organisational leaders, academics, researchers, and stakeholders to engage in a focused discussion about the success and importance of SHEP and programs that promote farmers’ market access to increase their income generation.

Africa: Investment opportunities in agri
The African Agri Investment Indaba (AAII) is the global meeting place for agrifood investment in Africa.
The 3-day conference will bring together over 1100 key stakeholders from governments, banks, financiers, investors, project owners, project developers, commercial farmers and the agro and food processing industry – to discuss trends that will likely influence food and agribusiness economics over the next decade in Africa.

Dairyman Awards Ceremony
The Agricultural Research Council (ARC) is pleased to carry on its long-standing practice of awarding commercial and smallholder dairy farmers for exceptional achievements. On Thursday, 17 November at 12:30 local time, Groot Phesantekraal, in Durbanville in the Western Cape will play host to this year’s ARC Master Dairyman Awards ceremony.

N. Van Rensburg dispersal sale
BKB organises the dispersal sale of N. Van Rensburg at the Glen Ross property in Virginia, Free State.
Property 18 of the farm Glen Ross and property; section 14 of the farm Glen Ross are available for purchase.
The farms consist of a total of eight camps, with lucerne (15 ha), erasgrostis (10 ha), irrigated land (80 ha; drag-line irrigation system), with the rest being natural pastures. The three-bedroom home includes a bathroom, living room, and kitchen. Water from Allemanskraal Dam (enrollment 7200m³ per hectare). Reservoir dam equipped with a pump (130,000l per hour).
