“It is our chance to showcase the brilliance of our young agri-stars,” says Food For Mzansi co-founder Ivor Price. “They catch flights, buses, taxis and organise lift clubs to attend every year. What’s going down at the 2024 Mzansi Young Farmers Indaba
- 550 attendees: Imagine 550 young, passionate farmers and other agri-heroes vibing together, sharing their stories, and fuelling the farming fire. At previous events, we couldn’t accommodate late sleepers, so please don’t wait too long to book your tickets. Over the course of the three days, nearly 1 300 people are expected to attend.
- 60 of the country’s finest speakers: We’re talking talks by 60 game-changers and leaders in agriculture, dropping knowledge bombs and inspiring greatness.
- 3 days of agri-adventure: Buckle up for three days packed with deep knowledge, hands-on action, and networking galore. Yes, you read that right. We’re adding a third day for workshops and exhibitions.
- 50 exhibitors: Dive into innovations from 50 cutting-edge exhibitors showcasing the latest technology, products and tents. In 2024, we’re also adding a special exhibition area for livestock and agricultural machinery.
- Link up with funders: Connect directly with banks, investors, and funders eager to back daring agricultural ventures. This is your chance to finance your dreams, directly connecting with the decision makers.
- Agricultural education: With universities, colleges and other educational partners in attendance, discover pathways and opportunities in agricultural education, shaping the future generation of farming heroes.
We’ve got a new venue
Good news! We’re taking over the Lavender Kontrei Mark in Pretoria East! It’s at 106 Apache Road, Onderstepoort – the pulse of the agri-action, easily accessible via major highways linking Gauteng, Free State, and North West provinces. It’s also a mere 50 minutes’ drive from both OR Tambo International and Lanseria International.

Tickets are a great deal, starting at just R500 (excl. VAT) for a two-day pass. A three-day pass is just R750 (excl. VAT). This grants you access to parking and entry to all masterclasses, demos, and exhibitions. The three-day ticket includes free business management training on the Saturday morning.
