Food For Mzansi and the Western Cape P.L.A.S. Farmers’ Alliance will host a practical and informative programme focused on the challenges, opportunities and solutions shaping the future of emerging farming in the Western Cape.
The programme brings together farmer representatives, industry experts and specialists to explore some of the issues that matter most to emerging farmers, including the Alliance’s role in supporting farmers, access to alternative funding, land reform and title deeds, the future of grain production, labour and other legal matters, and agricultural insurance and risk management.
The session will provide an opportunity for emerging farmers to engage directly with experts, ask practical questions and explore solutions that can help strengthen and grow their farming enterprises.
THE NEW FACE OF SOUTH AFRICAN AGRICULTURE
With 21 global awards in the first six years of its existence, Food For Mzansi is much more than an agriculture publication. It is a movement, unashamedly saluting the unsung heroes of South African agriculture. We believe in the power of agriculture to promote nation building and social cohesion by telling stories that are often overlooked by broader society.
