‘The resilience astounds me’
Hudson praises farmers for their resilience in the agricultural sector. “Farmers have done extremely well. They have done so well, that in fact, the resilience of the agricultural sector astounds me,” he says.
Challenges in the agri sector cannot be overlooked and Hudson shares that the sector has a long way to go in fully addressing some of the challenges. “If you look at infrastructure for example, that is a massive concern for us.”
He also expands on the importance of understanding your business and the type of support you desire. “Partners need to add value to the farming business. If they don’t add value, the farming business will look elsewhere.”
