This week’s events include an All White Farm Party, Deep Water Culture Master Class, Food For Mzansi Gather To Grow on Instagram Live, Farmers Hope graduation ceremony, and Field Berry Farm Christmas Market. To include your event in the calendar, please email info@foodformzansi.co.za.

Do the right thing this Monday and save your spot for the epic All White Farm Experience Picnic happening in Cape Town as a way of celebrating South Africa’s Day of Reconciliation this Saturday.

Also, don’t forget to save the date on Tuesday for the HomeGrowers Master Class workshop which will happen on 23 December.

On Wednesday we have our usual date for the Food For Mzansi Gather to Grow Session on Instagram Live. This is followed by the Farmers Hope Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, all the way in North West. On Friday we close things off with a Christmas Market at the Field Berry Farm in Johannesburg.

Prepare for the All White Farm Experience Picnic

Get ready for some fun and celebration for this year’s Day of Reconciliation. Enjoy the outdoors for some fun in the sun at the All White Farm Experience Picnic and make sure that you save the date!

Tuesday, 12 December

Save the date for the Deep Water Culture Master Class

Join the HomeGrowers Master Class workshop on growing premium herbs and vegetables using the Kratky DWC System.

Each paid participant will receive the following :
1. Notes on successfully growing produce using a Kratky DWC system.
2. Full DWC system valued at R399.
3. Free vegetable seedlings of your choice from the farm fresh bulk display.
4. Nutrients to keep you growing for around 6 months.

There is limited space for this hands-on demonstration workshop, so book early to avoid disappointment!

Farmers Hope graduation ceremony

Skills development is important because it promotes economic growth and social development by creating a skilled and diverse workplace. Farmers Hope entity provides training and educational opportunities to local community. Farmers Hope is an accredited training provider with AgriSETA and Services SETA and their mandate is to train youth in agriculture and business management.

Farmers Hope graduation ceremony will celebrate the successful education journey of their students and achievements this year.

Field Berry Farm Christmas Market

Experience the festive cheer and discover the magic, come hunt for the first raspberries of the season and do some Christmas shopping. Alongside regular food vendors, there will be additional new holiday vendors selling unique locally made Christmas gifts.
