We’ve got an exciting week ahead!
Start off the week with Bonsmara SA celebrating their 60th anniversary in the Free State from Monday to Wednesday. On Tuesday activities move to Vereeniging for a ivestock sale in Gauteng.
On Wednesday, a Gather to Grow session on Instagram will tackle another exciting topic, and on Thursday roads lead to North West in Ventersdorp for a livestock auction.
On Friday, you can save the date for the Malanseuns Public Show in Akasia, Pretoria, Gauteng.

Bonsmara SA celebrating 60 years of excellence
Celebrating the rich history of their wonderful Bonsmara breed, Bonsmara SA has been at the forefront of the beef industry for the last 60 years. The three-day event will include a golf day, annual general meeting, the red breed event, 60 years gala dinner and Bonsmara SA national auction.

This week the Gather to Grow session on Instagram will tackle the topic of “Fields to the future: Understanding agritech”, showcasing technological advancements and innovations in agriculture that are changing the landscape of farming in the country.

North West department of agriculture village livestock auction launch
NW MEC Desbo Mohono will lead the North West village livestock auction launch in the Dr Kenneth Kaunda District, in JB Marks local municipality in Ventersdorp.

Friday, 15 March
Prepare for Malanseuns Public Show weekend
Malanseuns is opening their doors to the public, for the first time in 110 years! The three-day show will include show gardens, gardening workshops, an exclusive tour with Jimie Malan, 2023 Young Farmer of the Year, and loads of specials to the public.
The festival will take place on 12 – 14 April 2024, at Malanseuns Pleasure Plants, Akasia. Please save the date!
