2024 South African Large Herds Conference
The SA Large Herds Conference takes a holistic approach to dairy farming, concentrating on issues peculiar to the large herds operator.
Topics such as systems management, strategies for change, sustainability and resilience, operations management, market trends, environmental and technological trends, finance and taxation, human resource management, motivation and lifestyle are addressed. The conference is for the progressive dairy farmer serious about their business.

Berries ZA Technical and Trade Symposium
With “Quality” as the overarching theme, they are focused on improving and optimising their entire value chain, with the collective goal of producing, Good, Better, Blueberries.
On Day 1, attendees will dive into the data of their various research projects at Berries ZA, which will assist them in developing future-proof methodologies. In addition, other technical experts will share the podium and engage in relevant trends.
Day 2 will shift the focus to trade as they explore industry trends and the various influences that affect their trade. Keynote presentations will push the boundaries of our understanding.

Mowbray Farmers Market 2024
Every first Saturday of the month, small-scale farmers, producers, and artisans gather outside of Gordon’s Gym in Mowbray to sell their locally grown produce, homemade foods, and handmade goods at the Mowbray Market.
This new addition to the market landscape in Cape Town was first launched in December 2022 by the Trust for Community Outreach and Education (TCOE) together with rural movements such as the Rural Women’s Assembly in South Africa, Mawubuye Land Rights Forum and the Inyanda Land Rights Movement.
