Thursday serves as a reminder to apply for a climate and environmental training programme presented by the African Food Changemakers. Friday takes us to a livestock auction in the Free State.

Cannavigia and Cheeba Cannabis Academy expo
The Cheeba Cannabis Academy and Cannavigia is hosting a free webinar exploring cannabis off-takes, exporting, packaging, and transporting to international markets exporting.
The likes of Sebongile Hlapisi from Maluti Green Med, Johan Pieterse from Travsec, and Luc Richner from Cannavigia will be part of the discussion panel.

Afasa FS launches fodder bank and vaccination programme
The African Farmers’ Association of South Africa’s (Afasa) Free State branch invites you to their fodder bank and vaccination programme launch at the Koppies Townhall at 11:00. The event hosted by the Afasa Red Meat Chamber will also include grass cutting, grass baling, and cattle vaccinations.

Food safety aspects of cell-based food
The Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) and the World Health Organisation (WHO) have issued a milestone publication entitled “Food safety aspects of cell-based food”.
They are inviting interested parties to the publication launch webinar. Engaging various food safety competent authorities and stakeholders, the webinar will cover the safety considerations of cell-based food products. Participation is free; just choose one from two sessions on Wednesday, 5 April.

BKB Potchefstroom livestock sale
You are invited to the BKB auction grounds in Potchefstroom for a livestock auction. The auction for will be open to buyers and seller for all types of livestock.
Conditions of sale include: Only card, cash, or immediate electronic payments day of sale; 1% handling fee on cash payments; electronic transfer facilities; Fica documentation with registration process; and all goods will be sold at a reserve price and the right exists to bid by or on behalf of the owner or auctioneer.
