Afasa 10-year celebration
The African Farmers Association of South Africa (Afasa) is hosting its annual AGM conference in Durban this year and you’re invited. The three-day event will see top political figures, private sector and agricultural role players descend on the Durban ICC.
Key talking points will include: South Africa’s agricultural policy on the commercialisation of black farmers; land and water reform strategies and more.

WFF global youth forum
Under the 2022 theme “Healthy Diets. Healthy Planet.”, the World Food Forum (WFF) will take place from 17 to 21 October at the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome, Italy.
The WFF will comprise the WFF Global Youth Forum, the FAO Science and Innovation Forum and the FAO Hand-in-Hand Investment Forum.
These three interlinked fora will advance bold and actionable solutions to catalyze the transformation of our agrifood systems, highlighting the importance of the next generation and its ingenuity in science, technology and innovation in dialogue with current thought leaders and scientific experts.
