Combine congress in Tshwane
The University of Pretoria is pleased to announce a conference on South African soils, grain and oilseed perspectives, economic outlook, and agricultural science.
Every year, the congress is held in the third week of January, and the location is rotated across the country. The South African Journal of Plant and Soil (SAJPS), which publishes original papers and commentary on research in the disciplines of fundamental and applied soil and plant science, represents and scientifically supports these three societies.

Webinar: introducing the GSMA AgriTech accelerator
The GSMA AgriTech Programme will offer a webinar for digital agriculture solution providers who want to apply for the AgriTech Accelerator.
This webinar will build on the content to address queries they have received from prospective candidates, focusing on key objectives and priority areas, the assistance package on offer, and the major eligibility and selection criteria.
They will also highlight what candidates should emphasise in their applications, explore some of the more difficult questions, and make recommendations to improve service inclusion.

Kinko dormer simulcast production sale
On the 26th of January 2023, beginning at 11:00 am local time, the Kinko Dormer Simulcast Production Sale will be held live and broadcast online by BKB Digital Auctions. The sale will be held at Kinko, which is located in Swellendam in the Western Cape. It is anticipated that there will be a total of 80 dormer rams (both SP and herd) and 80 dormer ewes available for purchase (SP and herd) In addition to that, you also have the option of participating in a digital auction.

Symposium on irrigation of horticultural crops
From 29 January to 2 February, a number of sponsors will hold a conversation on the most recent research and technological developments in crop irrigation. Participants can also take part in an exciting field day and meet new people or reconnect with old acquaintances from all over the world. After three trying pandemic years, the symposium will ideally offer a chance for researchers, academics, and industry technical professionals to rekindle their personal relationships while travelling to a sunny climate.
