On Mzansi’s agriculture agenda today we will head to a webinar that aims to accelerate food growth in Africa in 2021.

This is followed by an event that will allocate land stands to claimants in the Emakhazeni Local municipality in Belfast, Mpumalanga this morning at 08:00.

Finally, a heads-up for the rural safety Imbizo in Giyani, Limpopo, tomorrow. It will see the deputy ministers of the police and transport, along with senior provincial and national SAPS officers, engage the rural community and respond to their security needs.

The Food Africa Accelerator Virtual Demo Day

You are invited to join the Food Africa Accelerator Virtual Demo Day this afternoon at 15:00.

The demo day will be hosted by Make-IT in Africa, GIZ, iBizAfrica and Pangea Accelerator.

During this highly interactive two-hour session businesses from the program will exhibit and pitch before an investor panel to gauge their investor readiness as they kick off potential investment conversations with program investors.

This being an important milestone for the businesses and program, it will also provide an opportunity for key players in the agriculture industry including company founders, venture capitalists, investors and industry partners, to network and engage.

You can accept the invite my clicking on this Zoom invite.

If you want to be present in this ceremony the stands will be allocated at the Madala Old Location in Belfast in Mpumalanga.

THE NEW FACE OF SOUTH AFRICAN AGRICULTURE

With 12 global awards in the first three years of its existence, Food For Mzansi is much more than an agriculture publication. It is a movement, unashamedly saluting the unsung heroes of South African agriculture. We believe in the power of agriculture to promote nation building and social cohesion by telling stories that are often overlooked by broader society.
