The Food For Mzansi Group, renowned for its esteemed publications, Food For Mzansi and Health For Mzansi, is in search of a Finance and Administration Lead to spearhead financial operations and administrative functions within our dynamic organisation. This pivotal role seeks an individual located in Paarl or nearby areas, who excels in financial management, and possesses a knack for streamlining administrative processes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Financial management:
    • Develop and manage financial strategies, budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.Monitor cash flow, manage financial risks, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.Oversee financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and payroll.
  • Administration:
    • Lead and optimise administrative operations, including office management, procurement, and facilities.Develop and implement administrative policies, procedures, and systems to enhance efficiency.Coordinate and support organisational events, meetings, and special projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field..
  • At least 5 years’ experience in financial management and administration, preferably within a media, digital, or fast-paced organisation.
  • Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, as well as administrative management systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
