We are living in a time where women are becoming more and more recognised for their work within the agricultural sector. While more needs to be done to make agriculture more inclusive, there is no doubt that the women farmers, scientists, farm workers, and the myriad of other contributors working in the sector today play a crucial role in its success.
At VKB, we recognise how limited the sector would be without the work of women, which is why we would like to offer all our women clientele a chance to own that one product they have always wanted in our stores. For Women’s Month, we are giving away a R5 000 voucher to one lucky woman towards the VKB product of her dreams.
Here is what you need to do to enter:
1. Take a picture of yourself in one of our branches with the product you desire most.
2. Upload your picture onto Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, and tag “VKB Landbou” as well as one person who you think will be happy to buy the product for you as a gift.
3. Use the hashtag #MyVKBwishlist.
You can also enter the competition by emailing your picture to rynos@vkb.co.za. Any pictures we receive on email will be featured on our social media platforms.
The competition runs during Women’s Month, from 1st to 31st August 2021, and we will announce the winner on Friday, 3 September. The winner will be selected randomly, which means everyone stands a good chance of taking home the prize. Please note however, that the prize is not redeemable for cash.
