The Agricultural Development Agency (AGDA) is currently hosting its first webinar. In celebration of Youth Month, which comes to an end today, the focus is on opportunities for young agriculturists.
Panellists include agriculturists Mbali Nwoko from Green Terrace, Jerann Naidoo from F2F Food Co., Nono Sekhoto from GrowthShoot, Paul Ntshabele from the PSJ Group and Sinelizwi Fakade from the Rocky Park Farming Group. The webinar is facilitated by Dawn Noemdoe, Food For Mzansi’s editor for audience and engagement.
According to AGDA, the webinar aims to identify possible new opportunities for youth that can be linked with AGDA initiatives.
AGDA’s vision is to contribute to the development of an inclusive, sustainable and growing agricultural sector, which contributes meaningfully to the achievement of social justice, socio-economic upliftment and food security through access to enhanced opportunities and partnership networks.
Furthermore, it focuses on the development of new entrants across the agricultural value chain by facilitating access to affordable finance, skills development and access to markets.
