For as long as she can remember, farmworker Ferencia Scheepers has always wanted to sing. Now, her dreams have come true as she is one of the top ten in this year’s Agri’s Got Talent competition.
Agri’s Got Talent is a prestigious platform that gives South African agricultural workers the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to showcase their talents on a national stage and unlock incredible opportunities.
Hailing from Resolute Farm Holdings in De Doorns, Scheepers has nurtured her love for music since childhood. “I grew up with music, and it has always been my dream to be a singer,” she says.
Her journey took a significant turn when she learned about Agri’s Got Talent while attending the show’s reunion event hosted at the farm where she works. This ignited a spark in her and she decided to enter.
“I have a great love for music, and that is why I motivated myself to enter,” she explains.
