Thursday, all roads lead to Free State where this year’s Grain SA Congress will take place. Friday is all about farm fun in Humansdorp.

Roundtable discussion on accessible nutrition and food security
PepsiCo and globescan is hosting a roundtable discussion on nutrition and food security. The session themed “Thinking ahead: Contributing to a glide path to accessible nutrition”, will feature a keynote address from the national agriculture minister Thoko Didiza.
Various other speakers will also be in attendance.

Fresh Solutions Farming Conference
Fresh Solutions Stellenbosch, in collaboration with Nic van Schalkwyk, executive director of Restore Africa Funds is hosting a Fresh Solution Farming Conference.
Experts will share insights on soil regeneration and the importance thereof. The keynote will be followed by a panel discussion featuring experts answering the question of whether soil regeneration can be sustainable and profitable.

Time to congress with Grain SA
One of the biggest events on Mzansi’s agriculture is back. This year the annual Grain SA Congress is happening on 8 to 9 March 2023 at Nampo Park, Bothaville.
The congress is an annual gathering of farmers and Grain SA’s top executives. While attendance is by invite only, the congress will be streamed live via Grain SA’s social media pages.

Humansdrop farm festival
The Humansdrop Plaasfees is here. Happening from 10 March to 11 March in the Eastern Cape. Interested individuals are invited share in the fun where are least 80 stalls will exhibit delicious South African food and beverages, while attendees enjoy the local music on offer from some of the countries best musicians perform.
