Molo Mzansi!
We’re calling all high school learners across South Africa! Here is your chance to attend the 2024 edition of the AgriCareers roadshow, hosted annually by Food For Mzansi. Now in its fifth year, this series of provincial events is set to reach 20 000 learners.
Our second lap of AgriCareers will be in Limpopo on Monday, followed by a livestock sale in Limpopo on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, we have the Food For Mzansi Gather to Grow on Instagram Live, followed by the a second livestock auction in Limpopo on Thursday.
We will close off the week in the Eastern Cape with another Food For Mzansi AgriCareers event.

Monday, 15 April
Food For Mzansi AgriCareers Limpopo
The Limpopo leg of AgriCareers will see thousands of pupils from schools around Limpopo attending sessions brought by Food For Mzansi. Pupils will be exposed to careers in the agricultural sector, from agronomist, bookkeeping, journalism, food scientist, diary scientist, and many other other careers.
Speakers from different institutions will guide pupils on how to chose best subject combination for the career they want in agriculture.

Tuesday, 16 April
Ibuyambo Farmers Day
Themed “Sustainable agriculture to advance rural commercialisation”, the day promises to be the perfect day in the sun with a cool exhibition centre. Attendees will network and explore different industry heads.

Thursday, 18-19 April
Tsolo Annual Agricultural Show
The second annual agricultural show will kickstart with exhibition of agricultural equipment, animals, animal husbandry as well as sport and recreation associated with agriculture. The show will also involve trade fair, competitions and entertainment for all attendees. The work and practices of farmers, animal fanciers, and zoologists will be displayed.

Friday, 19 April
Food For Mzansi AgriCareers Eastern Cape
The Food For Mzansi AgriCareers team will invade the Eastern Cape where thousands of pupils from schools around province will have an opportunity to attend sessions brought by Food For Mzansi. Pupils would be exposed to careers in the agricultural sector, from agronomist, book-keeping, journalism, food scientist, diary scientist and many other other careers.
Speakers from different institutions will guide pupils on how to chose best subject combination for the career they want in agriculture.
