We start the week by saving the date for an Agri Skills Transfer open day in Pretoria, followed by an online platform where a masterclass on climate change will be presented. On Wednesday, we move to the Northern Cape for a goat production auction.
We make our way to the Western Cape where Westgro will have a seminar on exports and lastly, we close off the week with another save-the-date for the Cape product and service workshop.

Agriskills Transfer Open Day
Explore their national diploma courses in plant production and animal production, online offerings, and short courses. Don’t miss this chance to engage with their staff and plan your 2025 agricultural journey.

Masterclass on Climate Change
The impacts of weather and climate change events such as drought, flooding, and temperature increases have resulted in land degradation and desertification. About 60% of Africa’s arable lands are already degraded.
Responses to climate change, such as investments in biofuels and other renewable energies, carbon forestry, biodiversity credits, innovations in agriculture and the extraction of critical raw materials for the energy transition also affect access and rights to land.

Wesgro Export Seminar
The Cape Town and Western Cape Tourism, Trade and Investment Company (Wesgro) will host the Garden Route export seminar with the aim of attendees gaining insights into the assistance and support for enterprises, potential export markets, network opportunities, exposure to industry professionals and knowledge and information sharing.
Institutions like Land Bank, the Industrial Development Corporation, and the department of trade industry and competition will be in attendance.
