Happy new month, farmers. Can you believe it is the festive season already? As we prepare to relax and wind down, we have a few more events for you.
There is a livestock auction brought to you by BKB, followed by the North West University Climate and Water Summit. On Wednesday, you can look forward to the Karoo Ochse auction in North West.
We wrap our week with the African Farmers Association of South Africa (Afasa) as they continue with their webinars on poultry and red meat. Don’t forget to save the date for the big and popular Food For Mzansi Young Farmers Indaba next year!

- 1% Handling fee on cash/card payments

- All goods will be sold at a reserve price and the right exists to bid by or on behalf of the owner or auctioneer.

Tuesday 03 December
Water Management and Climate Change
North West University (NWU) will be hosting a three-day symposium with a focus on finding practical solutions to the critical challenges of water management and climate change in the Ngaka Moridi Molema district of North West.
Key topics will include water resource management, climate adaptation, water conservation technologies and governance’s role in building water resilience.
Participants will have opportunities to network, exchange ideas and form partnerships, strengthening the collaborative spirit necessary to tackle these challenges, reaffirming the NWU’s commitment to fostering meaningful dialogue and developing sustainable solutions to climate change challenges.

Karoo Ochse auction
The Karoo Ochse will host their animal auction in Sannieshof and Litchtenburg , North West where farmers in the area will auction their animals to the potential buyers.

Afasa webinars
The African Farmers Association of South Africa (Afasa) is continuing with its webinars on poultry and red meat industries. The webinars are aimed at helping farmers better understand the commodities and learn about opportunities.
Some of the topics to be covered include animal health and disease, agro-processing, collective marketing, bulk buying of production inputs and funding opportunities.

Food For Mzansi Young Farmers Indaba 2025
Save the date because the biggest Food For Mzansi event will be coming back again in the new year and this time around it is bigger and better.
