On Tuesday, Africa’s timber trade, WoodEX for Africa 2023 kicks off. On Wednesday, the American Association of Wine Economics Conference takes place, while Thursday offers the Annual Black Business Summit, as well as a drone webinar hosted by CropLife Africa.
The African Farmers’ Association of South Africa (Afasa) in the North West, will host their annual general meeting and roadshow on Friday.

WoodEX for Africa 2023 Trade Show
Long established as the gateway to Africa’s timber trade, WoodEX for Africa 2023 will be the ultimate machinery, tools and supplies gathering in Africa.
An event not to be missed, WoodEX for Africa will be held at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg from 27 – 29 June 2023, alongside the 3rd edition of the Deck & Flooring Expo and co-located with Africa’s biggest construction expo, the Big 5 Construct Southern Africa, previously African Construction Expo.

American Association of Wine Economists Conference
The Western Cape government has patterned with AAWE Wine Economics, The Wine Arc, and the SA Wine Industry Transformation Unit to host the 15th Annual Conference.
The upcoming conference, one decade later, is thus another opportunity for South Africa to present our wine and tourism industries to an international audience of Wine Economists. The expectation is that between 100 and 150 delegates will attend this prestigious event with more than half being foreign visitors, most of them leading economists and opinion leaders in the field. About 100 scholarly papers will be presented and a strong press contingent is expected.
