Awe, Mzansi! Buckle up because it’s a big week in agriculture events. This morning, the Land Bank will release its annual financial results followed by the unveiling of a new blended finance scheme later today.
Tuesday offers a livestock auction in the Free State. Wednesday’s #GatherToGrow on Twitter Spaces is all about snail farming. This is followed by a virtual discussion about the poultry master plan hosted by Fairplay while the week closes off with the Wine-X fest in Jozi.

Land Bank releases financial results and unveils new scheme
The Land Bank’s annual financial results and Integrated Annual Report (IAR) for the current financial year will be released. The bank is also scheduled to unveil its new blended finance scheme in partnership with the department of agriculture, land reform and rural development. Livestock auction in Free State
BKB invites local farmers to their next livestock auction at the Verkykerskop auction field in Verkykerskop, about 40km outside Harrismith in the Free State. Livestock on the auction table will include cattle, goats, sheep, piglets and more.
