“It’s worth the money because our animals are in great condition and not as affected during winter. We use about four 50kg bags a week because it’s a concentrate; we mix it with maize and roughage. Because I love it, it makes it easier. I treat it as an investment. If you love it, it will love you back. If you take care of it, it will take care of you, and I think of it as a generational activity,” she says.

“I am still open to learning and upskilling so that the herd can continue to grow because the last thing you want to do is spend without seeing effective results,” she says.
