Benefits of products
When it comes to the Voermol sheep and goat protein lick, Van Wyngaard shares that this innovative product supports body weight maintenance and enhances digestion, especially in harsh conditions. It contains vital minerals, vitamin A, and protein sources that stimulate the intake of low-quality roughage, ensuring better nutrition for sheep, goats, and even cattle.
Their Voermol Premix 450, a long-standing product is a ready-mix maintenance lick formulated for cattle.
“It’s got a high content of urea, which helps the microorganisms in the rumen stimulate intake of low-quality roughage,” Van Wyngaard explains assuring that farmers can expect to see results after a full season of using these products.
According to Mudau, Voermol Feeds gave him a market edge and revitalised his farm.
Speaking about their products, Mudau says: “Even their immune system is always strong because they are getting a lick when they come back. We do extensive farming, they are in the bush the whole day. When they come back, they get the lick, [and] they maintain their body condition. Our animals are always shining.”
