The week we have all been waiting for has arrived. Food For Mzansi’s popular Mzansi Young Farmers Indaba is taking place on Wednesday and Thursday, 8 & 9 April. If you don’t have your tickets yet, you can still book it here.
This year, we have a new venue: Choose Life Centre, 589 Rubenstein Drive, Moreleta Park, Pretoria East. It’s modern, spacious, and perfect for all the panels, masterclasses, and exhibitions we’ve got lined up.
Monday 06 April
Hortgro Symposium
The Hortgro Technical Symposium 2026 is designed to help producers navigate this complexity with clarity, science and practical insight. The symposium comprises a business/ strategy day and two technical days, from 25 to 27 May. There will also be a pome fruit field day on 28 May at EGVV and a stone fruit seminar and orchard walk on 29 May in Simondium.
This five-day symposium brings together local and international thought leaders, scientists, economists, policymakers, researchers, advisors, industry stakeholders and producers to examine the issues shaping the future of pome and stone fruit and to share solutions that work in the orchard.

Organic & Natural Products Expo
Designed as a hybrid event that caters to trade buyers, while at the same time allowing retail sales directly to consumers, the expo is set to showcase local and international manufacturers, suppliers, importers and exporters.
The Organic & Natural Products Expo is a member of the International Organic Trade Fair Alliance.

Farmers Camp
A three-day agriculture and geoscience camp will expose farmers to opportunities and be in one space with researchers, mentors and industry leaders.

Nampo Harvest Day

The Outeniqua livestock auction is a monthly auction that takes place on the second Thursday of every month from 11:00 at the Outeniqua Auction Premises.
