As we reach mid-month, we start the week with a water-saving roadshow in the Western Cape to learn how to become more energy and water resilient. If you are interested in knowing more about the beef industry, join Agri Skills Transfer’s beef cattle production course.
Then it’s time for the Eastern Cape to get its Food For Mzansi’s Farmers’ Day.
Then we will have beef school information day for those who have interest in beef to learn more about the industry. Finally to celebrate Nelson Mandela day there will be a farmers day workshop.

Water Roadshow
The Western Cape department of environmental affairs and development planning seeks to create awareness for businesses in the Western Cape to understand the options available to them to become more energy and water resilient.
As part of the awareness roadshow, open day, in-person, free help desks will be set up in the respective districts of the Western Cape with energy and water sector desk specialists.

Beef Production Course
Agri Skills Transfer presents its in-demand beef cattle production course. South Africa’s beef industry is growing and skilled cattle farmers are in high demand! Learn how to manage a beef cattle operation from the ground up, with expert training in breeding, nutrition, herd health, and handling.

Beef School Information Day
The Agricultural Research Council will have a beef school information day, which will focus on challenges in the era of climate change, veld management, sustainable beef production, climate-smart beef cattle breeding, profitable weaner calf production, crossbreeding, and practical demonstrations.
