Move over, boring lunchboxes. There’s a new kid in town! South Africa’s leading pork producer, Eskort, has just launched Kiddos, the country’s first-ever pork range made especially for children aged 3 to 13. Think of it as protein with personality — YUMarrific, CHOMPalistic, SCRUMPtiously MUNCHeous food that’s as fun as it is flavourful.

The new range is designed to make mealtimes magical for little ones while keeping things easy for busy parents. With six playful products, Flingas, Tootsies, Smashies, Wim Wams, Tonkies and Cheesy Wiggles, Eskort Kiddos is all about turning ordinary eating into a mini adventure.

“There’s never been a dedicated pork range made just for kids in South Africa, and that felt like a missed opportunity to bring a little magic to mealtimes,” says Arnold Prinsloo, CEO of Eskort.

“With Kiddos, we wanted to create food that makes children smile and parents feel good – convenient, nutritious, and true to Eskort’s 108-year heritage of quality and care.”

Each product in the range comes with its own quirky twist:

  • Flingas: Crispy crumbed pork fingers that make dinner feel like playtime.
  • Tootsies: Cute piggy snout-shaped nuggets that bring giggles before every bite.
  • Smashies: Mini pork patties for sliders and lunchbox burgers.
  • Wim Wams: Crunchy little frikkadels, perfect with mash or as party snacks.
  • Tonkies: Potato and bacon balls (because who can say no to bacon?).
  • Cheesy Wiggles: Tiny cheese viennas that are ready in just 2 minutes.

Made for kids, trusted by parents

All Eskort Kiddos products are made with antibiotic-free pork, and some options are gluten-free with no added MSG. They’re par-cooked for extra convenience, meaning dinner, snacks, or lunchbox fillers are ready in under 15 minutes.

“Parents want convenience without compromising nutrition,” says Prinsloo. “Kiddos makes that easy. It’s quick, it’s fun, and it’s full of real protein.”

The bright, colourful packaging features fun characters and cheeky product names, all designed to grab kids’ attention and make healthy eating exciting again.

This marks a market first for South Africa, where beef and chicken dominate the kids’ food aisle. Eskort saw the gap and filled it with a little pork-powered joy. The Eskort Kiddos range hits shelves nationwide this November at leading retailers.
