When was the last time you truly celebrated your achievements in farming and agribusiness? Food For Mzansi and the Agricultural Development Agency invite you to the Soul to Soil Women’s Day brunch, a premier event dedicated to honouring women in the sector.
This special event will be held on Tuesday, 6 August 2024, from 09:00 to 13:00 at the elegant Kleinkaap Boutique Hotel in Centurion. With tickets priced at just R175, organisers confirm that limited spots are still available.
The brunch will be hosted by Dawn Noemdoe, a presenter on Food For Mzansi’s award-winning Farmer’s Inside Track podcast, named the best podcast in the world earlier this year. She is also a budding beekeeper and the founder of HoneyatDawn.
Who’s on the line-up?
Leona Archary, CEO of AGDA, will deliver the keynote address. As a leading figure in agribusiness, she will offer insights into the pivotal role women play in shaping the sector. Her address promises to provide valuable strategies and motivation for overcoming challenges and advancing in the field.
Attendees can also look forward to an inspirational panel discussion featuring Kagiso Trust CEO Dr Mankodi Moitse, farmer-agripreneur Ntuthu Mbiko, Masimong Group CEO Logamal Ramiah, Carmién Tea founder and managing director Mientjie Mouton, and Barbra Muzata who is well-loved as an entrepreneur, global communicator and brand marketing expert.
Soul To Soil not only includes a delightful brunch, but also an exclusive wine tasting led by Lucia Motloung, founder and CEO of LucMo Wines. Attendees will experience a selection of exceptional wines from this proudly black-owned brand.
