I think the fact that I farm is intimidating the women that I meet. I started farming when I was 24 and it took a lot of cutting back financially to finally feel like I am accomplishing something. My grandparents left me the land, and I worked a demanding job to pay my way through. I am 29 and farm full-time with vegetables, a few chickens and goats.
The women I date are in their twenties. I have been rejected a lot and women tend to ghost me after three dates. One girl actually said that farmers were too emotionally unavailable.
I am looking for a wife.
I have never taken a woman to my farm. Should I stop telling them what I do for a living?
