Agri skills for agricultural youth and women

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), in conjunction with the World Telecommunication Union (ITU), invites interested parties to attend the next WSIS Session both digitally and in person (for those already in Geneva).

This hybrid session will have two presentations, one from the FAO and another from the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), on chosen initiatives relating to digital skills for youth and women in agriculture. After that, there will be a panel discussion about digital skills and women in agriculture. The discussion would be based on the results of the research that FAO and ITU did together.

THE NEW FACE OF SOUTH AFRICAN AGRICULTURE

With 12 global awards in the first three years of its existence, Food For Mzansi is much more than an agriculture publication. It is a movement, unashamedly saluting the unsung heroes of South African agriculture. We believe in the power of agriculture to promote nation building and social cohesion by telling stories that are often overlooked by broader society.
