The recovery of agri after the recession
The Animal Feed Manufacturers Association (AFMA) is inviting you to attend its 73rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will feature significant players in the agriculture sector who will discuss the current political landscape of South Africa, give an overview of the agricultural policy environment and give insights on how the sector can recover from an economic recession.
On the panel sits professor in political sciences at the University of South Africa, Prof. Dirk Kotzé, chief executive officer of Agbiz, Dr John Purchase and economic advisor to the Optimum Investment Group, Dr Roelof Botha.

Citrus Academy’s bursary applications are now open!
The Citrus Academy is giving graduates that are studying in fields related to citrus production and research the opportunity to apply for a bursary fund that will fund their studies until they graduate.
To qualify you need to be a South African citizen in their second year studying plant and crop production, plant pathology, horticulture, soil science, entomology, agricultural economics, agricultural management or industrial, mechanical or agricultural engineering.
Successful candidates will be assimilated into various vocational learning opportunities. This includes an internship, graduate placement, and a holiday work programme.
