Reputation of excellence
All four winning avocado oils are produced with no additives, high levels of heart-healthy monounsaturated fats, and a subtle, natural flavour. This makes them a popular choice among health-conscious consumers and culinary professionals alike. The endorsement by the Heart Foundation of South Africa further cements the range’s health credentials, assuring consumers that these products support a heart-healthy lifestyle.
Westfalia Fruit, often referred to globally as the “avo experts,” has built a reputation for excellence across its full value chain. From growing and sourcing high-quality fruit to processing value-added products like low-preservative guacamole, frozen avocado, and dried fruit, the company continues to lead innovation in the category.

The SA F&B Awards allow winners to display official gold, silver, or double gold seals on packaging and across marketing channels. However, this is permitted only if the product remains unchanged from the awarded sample, under a specific non-exclusive license agreement. This system ensures that consumers can trust the award as a symbol of consistent, verified product quality.
