Hello all farmers! Going into a new month, don’t forget to set your reminder for this week’s Gather To Grow Twitter session brought to you by Food For Mzansi.
On Tuesday the African Farmers Association of South Africa (Afasa) will be launching a new branch at the Great Taung, and Wednesday we have a breeders sale in Ermelo, followed by a fancy “meet the maker dinner” where attendees will finally come face-to-face with the producers of their favourite wines.
On Thursday, there is an auction in Ermelo and we close the week with a good cause where farmers can take part in a training workshop that will prepare them to use technology and science to improve their production yields and alleviate food insecurity.
