Hello farmers

The week starts with a poultry workshop, followed by livestock auctions in the Western Cape and Free State.

If you’re looking to keep yourself warm, there are a variety of wines on offer at the wine festival in Pretoria, or visit the Cape Winelands. Agri Skills Transfer is also hosting an open day in August for those interested in studying agriculture, so save the date!

Poultry Workshop

A poultry workshop will be held for those interested in the poultry industry. The workshop will be used to connect farmers, expose them to market opportunities, and receive expert advice.

Livestock Auction

The Swellendam livestock auction takes place every first Tuesday of the month, from 11:00 at the Swellendam Showgrounds in the Western Cape.

Agri Skills Open Day

Wine Festival

Wine tasting and exploring wines from top wine farms in the country will be the order of the day. Various stalls selling arts and crafts, handmade and homemade goods, as well as great food and live entertainment, will be available too.
