Agriculture, land reform and rural development minister Thoko Didiza will deliver her budget speech on Tuesday, 09 May in Cape Town. Watch the livestream here as Didiza and her deputies, Mcebisi Skwatsha and Zoleka Capa, table their policy and 2023/24 budget speeches.
The budget vote speeches is expected to focus on critical matters related to the mandate of the department. According to Reggie Ngcobo, spokesperson for the department, the minister will hold a post-budget vote media briefing at the Imbizo Centre to highlight the budget vote speech.
“During the media briefing the minister will release the final report on the Animal Health and Biosecurity of the Ministerial Task Team,” Ngcobo said.
