From farmers and scientists to agro-processors and executives, the leaders shaping South African agriculture will be celebrated throughout Women’s Month, culminating in the 2026 Soul To Soil Women’s Month Brunch. Tickets for the event are available on www.soultosoil.co.za.
Hosted by Food For Mzansi in partnership with the Agricultural Development Agency (Agda), the annual event will bring together some of the country’s most influential women in farming, agribusiness and rural development on Wednesday, 26 August, at the Centurion Hotel.
More than a Women’s Month celebration, Soul To Soil has become a platform where women from across the agricultural value chain share their experiences, forge new partnerships and inspire the next generation of leaders.
Guiding the conversations on the day will be Conce Moraba, an accomplished agricultural economist and communications manager. As master of ceremonies, she will bring warmth, energy and insight to the programme.
A line-up of powerhouses
This year’s line-up features an impressive mix of farmers, innovators and industry leaders. Speakers include Maboang Matlou, founder of Lefkong Farming; Pretty Kubyane, co-founder and chief technology officer of eFamaApp; Valeska van Schoor, co-founder of Gro4Africa; Koketso Baloyi, founder of Diatla Tshweu Farming; and Lerato Aliu, chief executive of Roadgrass Investments.
The programme also includes a high-profile leadership panel featuring, among others, Dr Lukeshni Chetty, chief executive of the South African National Seed Organisation (Sansor), and Rendani Murovhi, transformation manager at Potatoes SA. Together, they will explore how collaboration, innovation and inclusive leadership can shape the future of South African agriculture.
