Calling all green thumbs with an interest in cannabis! Food For Mzansi is giving away a free scholarship to one of two courses offered by Cheeba Cannabis Academy. The lucky winner can choose between a course in either commercial cannabis cultivation or hemp cultivation, both valued at R9 400.

The commercial cannabis cultivation course dives into the world of growing cannabis for business. You’ll learn the basics from regulations to growing techniques, and even get a tour of a licensed cannabis farm!

The one-day hemp cultivation course focuses on the specifics of growing hemp, a close relative of cannabis used for many products. As you know, hemp boasts a wide range of industrial applications.

How to apply

To enter the competition, simply sign up to Food For Mzansi’s exclusive membership club. This will grant you access to in-depth articles, videos, and newsletters – a fantastic resource to help your agribusiness flourish. You’ll also receive exclusive invitations to a series of events held throughout the year.

Applications close on Wednesday, 31 July 2024.
