Based in the Heidelberg area of Gauteng, cattle farmer Teboho Hlanguza understands the pressure of managing livestock under challenging environmental conditions. Operating on communal land means dealing with unpredictable seasonal factors, which requires a highly strategic approach to supplemental feeding to protect his investment.

“To be precise on the Voermol products, they’ve helped me to maintain my cattle bodyweight and condition even during winter times,” says Hlanguza. “Because I farm on communal land, most of the time they burn grazing lands, so it’s of paramount importance that at such times I utilise my own feed to maintain the body condition.

“Currently I have about eight cows that are expecting calves, and out of those eight, four of them are heifers. So it’s evidently clear that this feed increases productivity,” Hlanguza concludes.
