This week’s agricultural events calendar kicks off with a major announcement this morning by Agri Enterprises. Also on our watch-list is an online piggery course, followed by a Twitter Spaces session on beetroot production and agro-processing, climate change talks, a celebration of World Cotton Day, and a beef genetics selection session. Add your event to the calendar by emailing info@foodformzansi.com
Happy October, Mzansi! Today, all roads lead to Centurion in Gauteng where Agri Enterprises will lift the veil on the many highlights of its “Farming for tomorrow” training programme. More than 700 black farmers have been fast-tracked to commercial status. This week also brings several other agricultural events you might want to take note of.
Today, there is an online piggery course presented by Agri-Skills. Tuesday serves as a reminder to book your seat for a beef genetics selection session with Gule Agri Consulting.
And in its regular slot on Wednesday, Food For Mzansi hosts its #GatherToGrow Twitter Spaces session, this time around on beetroot production and agro-processing. Thursday takes us to a climate change webinar and Friday is all about celebrating World Cotton Day.
