This week’s agricultural events include saving the date for a water access and efficiency roadshow, beekeeping training, Food For Mzansi’s Transformation Lekgotla, a livestock healthcare seminar, and a farming camp. To include your event on the Food For Mzansi calendar, please email info@foodformzansi.co.za.

Greetings farmers

Interested in the honey industry? We start the week with beekeeping training in North West. The Western Cape government’s water access and efficiency roadshow will take place in Mossel Bay, then save the date for the must-attend Transformation Lekgotla led by Food For Mzansi in August.

With animal diseases threatening the livestock industry, join the livestock healthcare seminar and keep your herd safe. Don’t forget to also save the date for a three-day farming camp in October in the Northern Cape.

THE NEW FACE OF SOUTH AFRICAN AGRICULTURE

With 21 global awards in the first six years of its existence, Food For Mzansi is much more than an agriculture publication. It is a movement, unashamedly saluting the unsung heroes of South African agriculture. We believe in the power of agriculture to promote nation building and social cohesion by telling stories that are often overlooked by broader society.
